how can I get the swoosh sound back when i send mail on MacBook pro

Uncheck: DO NOT DISTURB in Notifications of System Preferences

Finding DO NOT DISTURB:
Do you have access to any DO NOT DISTURB button? If it appears not, then type DO NOT DISTURB in the searchbar on the top-right corner of the screen.

It is because you finally found the moon to unclick and unclicked it.
I don't have this white box on my screen
In system preferences there is a round red circle on notifications. When I click on it this is what comes up
I don't see a DO NOT DISTURB button anywhere
If I click on the moon I get this:
If I click on date holding down command key I get this:
I meant option key
it's working now but I don't know how or why....just THANKS!
