AirPlay with AppleTV 4th gen stopped working

AirPlay with AppleTV 4th gen stopped working after Catalina Update on 20mar2021 Macbook 13 and Macbook Pro 2013. How to get it working again?

Apple support online recommendations do not work.

Apple support person said wipe SSD and reinstall old version of OS and reinstall all apps.

Not a good solution.

How to I get it working again?
