How do I get Safari back on my task bar on my iMac?

Right click the Launchpad icon in the Dock and click Safari to open Safari application.

When Safari app opens, right click Safari icon in the Dock

Move the mouse pointer to the icon in the Dock to options and choose"Keep in Dock"

Drag it to move anywhere you want it to be placed.
