Hi, I have an iPad 5 using a magnetic case with a cover, and when I open it, the screen just goes straight to the Home Screen, not the Lock Screen. I close the cover, and when I open it, it goes to all of my apps. However I do not have a passcode on. So it kind of makes no sense to make a big deal out of it, but I’m a picky person who has a lot of pet peeves and this is high on the list. So I was wondering if it could be fixed.

If you do not have a passcode on the device and have a magnetic case, it will only lock dependent on what Setting you have for Auto-Lock. While it should go to the lock screen after that, it may bypass that because you have the magnetic cover and no passcode.
