I need to change my wifi settings on my iPhone to 2.4 in order to activate Arlo essential spotlight camera. I do see that my Orbi 6 mesh router provides 2.4ghz

iPhone 6 shows iPhone is connected to wifi - settings of wifi do not show SSID - how can I connect to 2.4ghz so that Arlo camera will activate? My Netgear Orbi Device Manager shows that 2 devices are connected to 2.4ghz while 8 devices including my iPhone are connected to 5ghz. I did see a solution someone had to take the iPhone further away and try to connect to the Wifi (due to the distance) 2.4ghz?

Hey there Hoffle,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're trying to connect your iPhone to your Wi-Fi routers 2.4GHz band, and we'd be happy to provide you with the best steps.

To get started, if you're not seeing the option to connect to a specific Wi-Fi band in Settings > Wi-Fi it's possible that you may need to change some settings on your Wi-Fi router or access point. For more details, check out the steps listed in the following resource that can help: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points - Apple Support

If still unable to connect, then we would recommend reaching out to your ISP who may be able to provide some additional information and steps.

We hope that helps.

Take care!
