The control key on my MacBook shows desktop

I'm a new Mac user so I don’t actually know the actual use for the control key. When I checked keyboard preferences under the shortcut settings in mission control for show desktop the key is just F11 but when I press the control key its still showing desktop.


I'm using M1 MacBook Pro BigSur 11.2.2

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2
