Using the Messages app, I am trying to download photos contained in certain conversations with the intent of archiving/adding them to the Photos app. When I right-click a conversation > Details... > scroll past Photos > Download, where are the photos being downloaded on my Mac? I do not see them in my Downloads folder. TYIA!!

Under normal situation the Photos are automatically added to Photos unless you have purposely configured to download to another location
Yep, that was what I thought, too. But some are in Photos, some are not. Some conversations have download link, some do not. Without going into each conversation and viewing/comparing to my Photos library, my default thought was to download them ALL to Photos and deleting dups from there.
That is the Plan ok
