USB Super drive

Question

USB Super drive

I just got a USB super drive. plugged it into my early 2015 MacBook Air and I heard a click and that's it. Can not find in finder and does not show up on my desktop. Any help?

If there isn't a disk in it, it's working as intended.

If there is, choose Preferences from the Finder meu and check the settings, or Utilities from the Go menu and see if the Disk Utility shows it.

If it's a slot-loading drive, insert the CD or DVD into the slot. It'll need to be a standard-sized round one.

If it's a tray-loading drive, look for a physical eject button on the case. Small or special-shaped disks will work in these.

I just received the drive. It does not have a disc in at that I know of.

I do not know how to open it to put a disc in it
