Watch pairing

I cannot set up health monitoring on my child’s watch. I have permission, and she is in Family Sharing as a minor, but each attempt ends with a message that it cannot access or pair health info at this time. Please advise.

Which Watch Series do you have for the child?

Is the new Watch GPS + Cellular model?

Is your child's Watch paired with your iPhone?

What you need

* A cellular plan isn't required to set up an Apple Watch for a family member, but is necessary for some features.

Thanks. Yes, this is a new watch for a chiId. I saw the article, but the problem is I cannot get that far. Every time I try to connect health with her watch, it fails in the set-up process. I have permission, but it won’t complete the task. Therefore, I am the only person who shows up in health information. She and her watch aren’t connected.
