Fan sound on MacBook Air makes Zoom recordings impossible for others

What can I do about the sound of the fan that is interfering with Zoom calls and even recordings I have made of my voice using the Yeti Blue external mic? I was in a therapeutic movement class today as a participant requiring audio interaction and had to be muted because the instructor said my computer noise would ruin the recording of the class; so I could not participate with questions, etc.

I cannot wear a mic during the class.

Also, a sound engineer working on an audio recording of mine through Audacity said the sound was audible throughout the recording.

Any ideas of how to eliminate this noise? Thank you.
