MAC MINI super loud fan noise.

I just bought a used late 2014 Mac Mini with i7 processor, 256 ssd, 16gb ram running Monterey. It periodically makes a VERY loud sound. It has happened 3 times in the few days I have been setting it up. My question is, " is this normal?" Should I expect the loud fan noise when it has to work hard? I will be using garageband and worried that fan noise will show up during recording with a mic? Next time it happens I will try to monitor the work load. - Actually it seems like it done it after I first turned it on so if it does that again under no heavy load then would that mean I need to send the unit back for replacement? - THX! and any help here will be greatly appreciated!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

Seems you have been scammed, though a full-assumption, on my part. So, return this.
