icloud backup

Hi

I'm trying to back my iphone SE up to icloud but it keeps failing. I have extra storage so storage should not be an issue. It starts the back up and then fails to finish. Been happening a few weeks.

I want to back up because I have a new phone (XR) and am unable to transfer the data over as that is failing too. Assume the issues are related possibly ?
