Air Dropped Photos are suddenly a HEIC and no longer JPG

How can I just shoot and AirDrop JPGs from my iPhone 8 Plus (IOS 14.4)to my MACOS 11.2.3 Big Sur without extra work arounds? This worked perfectly until today for some unknown reason.... Now none of the air dropped Photo files will upload to eBay.... They used to just import to the MacBook as jpgs... Now they are HEIC files and they wont upload to my eBay listings! This is costing me business and WASTING MY TIME. Considering leaving Apple products because of this inconvenience. Michael

Hi there MichaelMittelsdorf,

We understand you want to be able to transfer Jpg. format images captured on your iPhone, to your Mac. Your Mac will receive images via AirDrop in the format they are captured in.

On your iPhone, tap Settings > Camera > Formats. From here you'll have the option to change the type of file that camera images save as. You'll see a description for each of the options below.
