6-digit password broke in 15 min

I have my 6 passcode broken after my iPhone was stolen unlocked.

The thief has in 15min:

1) turned off find my iphone

2) accessed my Keychain and transfered money at my bank account (whose 4-digt passcode could be revealed by bank-app password the was inside the keychain)

3) accessed my surveillance camera app.

How can be possible someone brake my 6-dgt pass? Or faceid isn't flawless?

iPhone X, iOS 14

No one broke your 6 digit passcode unless it was 000000 or similar, or they saw you enter the passcode. With a 6 digit passcode it would take an average of 500,000 guesses, and the phone will become disabled after 10 guesses. They also must have hacked your Apple ID. That’s the only way Find My can be turned off; you cannot turn it off by breaking into the phone without the Apple ID password. Did you receive a message saying your phone had been found, and log in using a link in the message to track it? That’s a common trick to get your Apple ID and password.

Your Apple ID password is not stored in Keychain, exactly for this reason.

It is not possible that the thief guessed your passcode. The only other possibility is that the phone was unlocked when it was taken. If it was unlocked your keychain would have been accessible, but, unless you reused your Apple ID password for some other account (such as your Apple ID email account) there would have been no way to get your Apple ID password from Keychain.

If you had a surveillance camera app on your phone how did it get there? I’m not aware of any in the app store, so the phone might have been hacked to install it, which essentially removes all security from the phone.

Hi Lawrence, thanks for answering. I'm really astonished! Let`s see if y could help me, pls.

  1. 6dgt wasn`t 00000 or 123456.
  2. No one saw me, entering the code. I was at my car. The thief, a random one, took it from inside the vehicle when a stop at traffic light.
  3. I guess they have broken the 6dig, because that's the only way (other despite FaceID) of enter the Keychain. My appleID passcode was stored inside Keychain vault. Besides, with my 6-dgt code, the auto-complete could be uses to complete my pass.
  4. I didnt receive any msg at all.

The point is. I'm exactly sure that thief accessed my Keychain, proved by: non authorized use of my surv cam and recovery of my 4-dgt bank account passcode. Both were guarded by keys that are different each other and was stored on Keychain.

Q1: Is there any other way of access my keychain, but through 6-gt or faceID? I've made tons os test, and failed.
