When in Genres I can sort by title, newest, oldest etc.
I would like to sort by artist as well, whilst in Genres. Is it possible?
Sort of. In Songs view, use the Column Browser to only show the Genres you want. Then you can store by Artist or any other column.

Song view, sort by artist (on iPhone) is an absolute oxymoron when you have 10 000 titles.
We absolutely need to be able to sort Genres AND playlist, or any list for that matter BY Artist AND view as Album. That's the only way a human being can logically find stuff in a music collection. That's how most people used to organise their physical CDs...
Ex. Let's listen to some "JAZZ", ok what do I have here ? I want so see Album covers sorted by Artists.
Ex. "DINNER TIME" Playlist with 1000 songs in it. Yes I can play random or in the order I added them but maybe I want to pick an album or two for a specific dinner occasion. Again I will want to see Albums sorted by Artists.
Ex. Very basic one: "LOVED ALBUM" Wizard playlist. What do I need to see here ? Albums sorted by Artists.
So on so forth...

iTunes is pretty flexible, I see this option in fact. But no tiles view for a reason I do not get...
The main problem for me is using Apple Music with iPhone. We should be able in any list to sort by Artist AND to view by album covers (like we do in iTunes). The code is there. Why not implement it ?
