Vertical black bar on right side of display screen

Hi, I just opened my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) and there is a vertical black bar on the right side of my screen of about 5 centimeters that won't go away. I have not dropped it nor has there been water damage. When I take a screenshot, the black bar is not there so it must be the display. I have tried resetting the SMC and the NVRAM but it didn't work. I'd really appreciate some help!

Excellent job troubleshooting the problem. Many people don't realize you need to move the screenshot to another section of the display. You will need to have Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider examine the laptop to provide you with a repair estimate.
