MacBook Getting to Busy and Slow Whenever I Open Zoom

My MacBook, which is hooked up with two external monitors, freezes whenever I open up zoom.us for a meeting. Then, I could struggle to even move the cursor, let alone do any other thing. Everything slows down, it reacts slowly to clicks. I have to long-press the power button and restart. At other times, other than zoom.us, it works smoothly.

I use zoom.us with an external webcam. Any suggestions?

Any solution?
