Airpods/Airpods Pro warm after wireless charging and also not fully charged?

This is to properly answer all the unanswered questions like this. Wireless charging involves a magnetic current going through both your device and your charger. Like most magnetic currents, they will get warm with use. It's normal and nothing harmful. As for your Airpods or iPhone not charging to 100%, it's a safety feature. Batteries can expand based on their temperature, much like wood.

Don't be afraid to use them right away either because of their warmth. Apple specifically designed them to stop charging to give more than plenty of room to expand. Once cooled, they should resume charging back to 100%. Hope this helps the hundreds out there who also didn't enjoy going through long unhelpful discussions that had more questions and no answers.
