Using Outlook on iPhone XR

Hi,

I am new to Iphones after using Android phones for many, many years.

On my Android phones Outlooked had 2 inboxes - Focused and Other. Important emails were directed to Focused and advertising emails etc. were directed to Other. The Junk folder was something completely separate. It's exactly the same on my Windows 10 laptop.

Now that my iPhone is up and running with my ported number I have set up my Outlook account but now EVERY email comes into the inbox and it is very annoying. I swipe left on the email, select More, and select to Move to Junk but the next time an email arrives from the same company it comes straight into the Inbox!

Is there any way to create Focused and Other parts for my inbox and make sure only important emails come though on the notifications?

Many thanks

iPhone XR, iOS 14

Outlook is not an Apple product. That is a Microsoft product. There may be some differences between the Android and iOS versions of the app.

You can enable the focused inbox from with the settings in the outlook app itself, though in my experience, it very often gets things wrong. So much so that I don't actually recommend anyone use that option.
