How do I get a refund for my Apple Music?
I signed up for the apple music and decided I wasn't enjoying as much as I thought I would
and as soon I cancelled all my music went away that I had downloaded. what is this about ? and why?

After canceling apple music you lost access to any content you downloaded from there.
If you want to purchase music to keep you can do that via the iTunes store.
