Could i get instructions on changing the email attached to apple id without losing any of my data.

How do I combine 2 apple (1 was was for work and the other for personal use) ids? Ideally, I need to inactivate the work related id but keep the associated data.

Had 2 IDs. Deleted 1 and would like to rename the other to the deleted ID email. Is that possible? I ended up with 2 apple IDs - one under my personal email (which I never used) and one under by work email which is the one I used. I am retiring so moving everything over to my personal email. Since you cannot merge accounts, I deleted the Apple ID under my personal email (since it had nothing on it). Now I want to change the email associated with my other Apple ID (currently under my work email). However, I get the message that the email address is already being used (it was the one I deleted yesterday).

Apple ID change My current Apple ID is an email from my company that I retired from, so that email is no longer accessible. I wish to change my Apple ID to my new personal Gmail address. I tried to change my applied from the old work email to the new personal one and it said ‘this account is unavailable’. Somewhere over the years I must have setup an Apple account with my personal email. My question is, if I deactivate my personal email account through Apple, can I then switch from my work email to my personal one? I’d rather not go through the process of deleting my current Apple ID (work email) and then recreate a new Apple ID using my personal because I have too many devices ties to the old work one. Thanks much in advance for any help.

My apple ID is linked to my work email and I want to move it over to my personal email, which also has an old account. What should I do? My apple ID is linked to my work email, which has all my pictures, apps, finanace, etc attached, and so I want to change from my work email to my personal email address... however I have come across an old apple account linked to my private email address. Can someone give advice on what the best approach to change this would be? Thanks!

You can't combine Apple IDs. You can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
