Apple CarPlay and HERE Wego navigation question

Does anybody know if HERE Wego (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.here.app.maps&hl=en&gl=US ) works offline?

I ask as I am often in places where there is no network so I need to download the country maps and work from that.

My present car does not support Apple CarPlay but my new one will. Hence the question.
