AppleTV

My appletv shows a connection to Ethernet when it does not exist. It will not find the WiFi that is 2ft away. Other devices are using the same WiFi with no problem.

AppleTv 3 will not change from Ethernet to WiFi I have unplugged my the Ethernet cable from the back of the AppleTv, and restarted it numerous times (Both by unplugging & Settings/System/Restart) to get it to recognize the internet. AppleTV and ethernet Moving away from Wi-Fi. I have an active Ethernet cable on the AppleTV that used to be connected to Wi-Fi. It sees the cable but does not communicate. Does the unit have to be fully reset to make it switch from Wi-Fi to Ethernet operation?

I have AppleTV on an ethernet cable, not wi-fi. Can't connect iPad to it. I use an ethernet cable to connect the AppleTV box, not wi-fi. The iPad shows up as a device on the AppleTV list but does not connect using wi-fi. Any suggestions to make the connection?

if an ethernet connector is connected it will disable wifi

if it because of a false positive thing there is an ethernet cable connected the same holds true
