My MAC and iPhone both work well with Apple Mail, both send and receive. IPad does not.

My MAC and iPhone both work well with Apple Mail, both send and receive. IPad does not. All three use Xfinity, all have same email, user name and password entered. iPad has been full reset to factory new and the upgraded via MAC to latest IOS. I cannot get iPad to reliably send or receive via Xfinity but g ail works fins. Xfinity app works fine for send and receive.

Xfinity tells me that my iPad has lost its portal and that I should contact Apple.

has anyone heard of this and of a means to correct it?

If you have an issue with your ISP/Cable company’s own email service, you will need to seek assistance directly from them.

Had your email service been provided by somebody else (such as AOL, Google, Yahoo etc.) there may have been an explanation for your difficulties.
