Chrome webpage not optimized for the screen

Hi..

I have iphone 12 pro and I am using chrome browser. The webpage display does not fit my screen. When i load previous page or use some other apps and come back to chrome page, it becomes narrow (leaving white space at both the sides of the screen) , if i zoom the page then its kind of floating .... happens even when i open Youtube page as well.

Any suggestions please.....( i dont like safari)...

Hi sahana001,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. It looks like you have some questions regarding apps not opening full screen. Let’s see if we can help determine what’s causing this behavior.

1 What is the current iOS version installed on your iPhone? You can find this under Settings > General > About > Version. The current version is iOS 14.4.2 that is currently available. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

2 Does this occur in both Apple built-in apps and third-party apps? Or only the two apps you mentioned?

3 Have you checked to see if there are app updates that need to be installed? How to manually update apps on your Apple device

Let us know more details if you still need help.

Cheers!
