Glowing eyes - iPhone video w flash

When I take a video ‘selfie’ with the camera approximately 3 feet from my face and the flash on, my eyes glow. The pupil of my eye is orange and red and yellow and looks ‘hollow’. I can’t seem to make my eyes *not* glow, unless I turn off the flash. Has anyone found a way to prevent this? It may look like a cool special effect but it’s really annoying.

Hey starstuff1313,

We see that your photos are showing red-eye when using flash. Taking a picture using a flash can result in red pupils. You can remove the appearance of red-eye in a photo. To do so, follow the steps below.

-Open the Photos app;

-Select on the photo you want to fix redeye on;

-In the upper right hand corner tap on Edit;

-Select on redeye correction tool — it looks like an eye with a line through it;

-Tap on each red eye in order to correct it;

-Select Done.

Take care.
