YouTube buffering on apple tv
Hi my YouTube is buffering really bad on my 4k Apple TV my Apple TV plus Netflix work amazing. I’ve done everything from deleting app to restarting Apple TV it’s driving me nuts

Software Update Culprit
I’m thinking that the software update is the culprit here. So, restore your Apple TV to Factory Settings. But before doing that, try the following:
- Try Ethernet:
Have an an Ethernet cable handy? If so, use it, as a hardwired connection may be more reliable. You’d plug one end of the cable in to your Apppe TV and into your router. See if the buffering discontinues:
If if no success...
Reset to Factory Settings:
- Go to: General
- Select: Reset
- Select: Restore
- Wait it Out: until all is reset

Just trying this now deffo not my internet speed as is pretty good my Apple TV plus and Netflix work brilliant with no buffering bits literally only the YouTube app thank you for the reply
It’s still bad I’m running out of ideas now it’s just so weird cause YouTube on my iPhone and iPad have no problem at all with buffering and there in the same wifi it’s literally just my Apple TV

Nah it’s still bad I’ve just tried watching a live stream and it’s constantly doing it I’m watching the same live stream on my iPhone and it’s working fine on that
