Apple TV

Why does it seem like almost every time I binge a few episodes on Apple TV the show will start having download issues, with pauses every few minutes, sometimes never ending? Is this intentional "bandwidth throttling" by Apple??? Been switching between Apple TV & youtube TV for sports and there's absolutely no issues with youtube TV(and as I said, this has happened several times before with Apple TV when I'm binging).
