Migration Assistant

I used migration assistant to migrate my files from a windows PC to my new Mac mini. How do I find the files?

Go to Apple > System Preferences > Users & Groups and look to see if they got moved into a new User Account.

If they did, then you will need to log out and log into that Account.

That happened because you setup the new Mac Mini first and then migrated in a different account.

Typically it is best to migrate from a Mac, PC or backup, when prompted in the initial setup.

Thanks, I did find the user and was able to move my files. It would be nice if the Migration Assistant had information on where it put the files. The assistant worked but was not user friendly.
