moving files from MacBook to MacBook

Using Migration Assistant, can I choose which files to move or is the only option everything?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

You may only choose among broad categories of items to transfer. If you want to transfer individual files, use File Sharing: Set up file sharing on Mac - Apple Support.
