Why can’t I see my husbands location on his iPhone when we share an account and we are both saying it’s allowed to share our locations

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you're running into an issue seeing a location with Find My. We're happy to provide some information to help.

You mentioned you're sharing an account. Are you referring to sharing an Apple ID? If so, that may be why you're not seeing the correct location. If the same Apple ID is being used on both devices, then location services may show "with you" if you search for the device. It's typically not recommended to share an Apple ID as this can cause a variety of issues. You can still share a lot of content with separate Apple ID's if you use Family Sharing. If you're not sharing and Apple ID, let us know what account you're referring to, and what happens when you try to view your husband's location.

Have you checked that location services are enabled for find my on his phone?

Settings>privacy>location services:

Location services is on

And in the app list, find my settings are "while using"

In share my location: Find my iphone is on, Share my location is on, my location is set to "this device"
