Apple Watch Workout Outdoor Walk
I can't seem to get an answer why the Workout (Outdoor Walk) feature on the Apple Watch doesn't count the minutes I'm walking as exercise. I'm 72 years old with bad knees so my walking speed is on the slow side only about 2 mph. I walk for an hour just a little over 2 ¼ miles and the get credit for 1 minute of exercise. I've followed all the instructions on calibrating the watch and app on my iPhone 11 but just can't get any exercise credit for walking. What I have found on the Apple Support site is that you have to move much faster to get exercise credit. This should be based on a persons age and ability to move not a speed. I also noticed for other exercises like Strength Training and Core Training you get full credit for your time no matter how much you are moving. Is anyone else seeing the issue.
Thanks
