Hi - I have a few hundred bookmarks within my Safari. Is there a way to delete multiple bookmarks at one time? I'm familiar with deleting a single BM. Thanks very much.

Click "Bookmarks" in Safari menu bar and then "Edit Bookmarks".
Select first bookmark and then click other items holding the command key.
Click the "delete" key.

Your question can be answered there's a way you don't want to click the mouse instead pressing your keyboard.
