FaceId won't work, and can't be configured anymore

I’m using iPhone X with the newest iOS ver 14.4.2. I’ve set up Face ID before and it worked fine for 2 years but suddenly it cannot recognize my face, so I reset Face ID.

When I try to configure it again, it keeps saying "move iPhone lower/higher". No matter how much I move my phone, it still won’t have any effect.

I think it started with the update to 14.4.1, and update 14.4.2 didn't solve the issue.

I tried restarting my iPhone and even reset it completely, but to no avail.

Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and tap Reset Face ID. Then tap Set up Face ID to set it up again. If you can't enroll your face, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider or contact Apple Support.
