M1 MacBook Pro trackpad not working correctly

I have the MacBook Pro M1 and the trackpad is not working very well. Every time I click on the trackpad it seems sticky, like the sensors have been overused. Does anyone know if there is a diagnosis to fix this? Or does anyone else have this problem?

Ok, turns out the settings for the trackpad had glitched causing some weird sticky lock to happen with the trackpad. After changing the settings and then changing them back, seems to be working like normal.
