Touchpad on M1 Mac Pro weak/no feedback

Hello,

My M1 MacBook Pro trackpad started to act with weak tactile response, like there is no tactile feedback or its very weak. To make things even weirder, after reboot it starts very weak, but as the days progresses, it becomes just flat (with no tactile feedback at all) till another reboot.

Any help appreciated.

P.S. Please don't send me to system preferences->trackpad, as I have "Click" slider max to the right (firm)

also checkbox Force Clik... is checked.

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode and test.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

if no insight or resolve —

You can try making changes to your Trackpad to test, then come back to your preferred settings.
