Offloading Apps and New Apple ID

Hello!

Some months ago, I transferred my Apple devices to a separate Apple ID. Previously, my mom, sister, and I all shared an ID, which was causing a lot of issues (getting each other’s messages after software updates, calls coming to everyone’s devices, etc.). I have a bunch of apps from the previous ID that I have “transferred” (aka I enter the old ID password when I get a new phone to bring those apps over, etc.); however, I was curious if this was possible: If I were to offload (not delete, because I’d like to keep the app data) the apps from settings and then reinstall the apps while logged into the new ID, would the new installations be solely connected to the new ID or would they still be connected to the previous ID? Thank you!

They would probably be associated with the new ID.

Your mom can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
