iPhone se keeps disconnecting from aux

My iPhone se keeps disconnecting from the aux cord. I had an iPhone extension, and it would allow the music to play for a little bit, then turn off like if you unplugged headphones. I got an iPhone aux, thinking that would fix the problem, but it did not. The aux cord I have works perfectly without the iPhone extension, on other phones. I’ve tried restarting my device, unplugging everything, nothing is working. What is happening? How do I fix it?

If the issue persists can you provide a few more details? Which iPhone SE are you currently using? You mentioned using an extension, are you currently using an Apple branded Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter? Also, do you notice any issues while using EarPods with Lightning Connector or while charging?
