Background noise during call

Hello, my iPhone has the same problem

I purchased it just ~10 days ago, checked by calling it seemed OK, voice was clear. After updating IOS from 14.2.1 to 14.4 only during the calls the sound quality is poor, quite noisy.

Today updated to 14.5 hoping it will fix.. but unfortunately no success.

Please fix this issue it is very important, actually a basic functionality of any phone. The steps in the links provided didn't help either. I make a test call with some cheap/old phone and no noise... so it is not network related issue but ios 100%!

Thanks for that followup, sudhanshu_25. If you are experiencing the sound both while using the normal receiver and with headphones, that definitely directs us another way. This is occurring only on calls and not on any other type of sound output, correct? For example, you don't hear that background noise when playing soft music through your speakers or while playing back a recorded Voice Memo?

Let us know the answers to those questions and please take the following steps, which could have an impact on this behavior. Also, please test in different locations and with Wi-Fi turned on and off to see if that changes things.
