Edit to my question: I am trying to use an HDMI adapter for the external camera I'm using. When I plug the monitor in to the adapter, the monitor is not showing up as an option, and there is no arrangement tab on displays.
I welcome any advice and I have a call into someone who could help me. thanks.
Your description is confusing. Are you connecting an external camera and an external monitor? Is it the camera display that is not displaying on your computer? If so, the HDMI port on your computer is out only.
Please see my edit below. I can either connect the monitor or the external camera, but not both with the HDMI adapter
