We email error message

for the past several weeks when I send an email to myself from my iPhone 12 Pro Max, I get the following message on my received email:

This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program.

text/plain

I just updated my iOS to 14.4.2 last night and I’m still getting this message displayed on my received email instead of the text that I sent. What’s up?

I am using Comast as my email carrier, but I don’t get this message from any other emails I receive—only ones sent by me. The same email viewed on my computer using Outlook is displayed correctly. This is an Apple phone problem! Anyone else having this issue?

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.
