Acorn TV problems

Some shows on (Apple TV+) AcornTV are asking me to open the show on the Acorn TV app...not on the Apple TV channel. Has anyone had this problem, and how did you solve it? Thank you.

Thank you. Here are clearer details about my situation. I am an Apple TV+ subscriber. On the Apple TV+, there are options for additional "channels" to be purchased (Epix, Showtime, Paramount+, etc.). I purchased (subscribed) to Acorn TV. Things worked fine until recently when I was asked to "choose" how I would like to view a program...Acorn TV or Prime. I clicked on Acorn TV, and it took me to the application (separate from the channel on Apple TV+) which required signing up through Acorn directly. I hope this clears things up. It seems silly, but I had a similar problem with Showtime that I solved by joining the app and dropping the channel off of Apple TV+.

The Apple TV app let's you watch shows from Apple TV+ and other Streaming services. First, verify the show you are attempting to watch is an Apple TV+ Original. This page can help: The Apple TV App


If the issue persists can you provide a few more details? Which show are you attempting to watch? Also, which device and OS are you currently using?
