unusable email for password reset

Last week i bought a new iphone 12 for my wife. After the phone was setup with the data of the old iphone6 we realized that we never used the apple id and forget the password. The problem is that the appleID is an old ****@me.com account without email validation it is impossible to reset the password. Now we are not able to reset the new iphone12.

What can i do to reset or delete the *****@me.com icloud account from the new phone?

Can the apple store reset the phone?

If you forgot the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a rescue email option if necessary.

If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the ID  if provided the required paperwork. 


Request additional support for unlocking your device


Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)

Ok. I was in the Apple store (here in Turkey) and they told me that i have to call Apple support. I did call the support and they told me that i have to turn off the phone and wait for 24Hours. After 24Hour i will get a SMS to reset my apple ID password.

It has now 26 hours left and no SMS no message nothing. After a call again they told me that they send an email to my ****@me.com acoount. How stupid are they? If i had the password to the @me account why i should contact you?

Result: I have to go to the apple store they will unlock it but the apple store say no we cant reset or unlock it here.

Is this a joke?
