How can I swap out the SIM card on my series 5 Apple Watch?

i am a sprint customer but they recently merged with T-Mobile. I have an iPhone 11 and a series 5 Apple Watch. This week while contacting my carrier about a billing issue they said if wanted they could send out a T-Mobile SIM card my phone and watch. I’ve already swapped out my phones SIM card (they said I’d be able to access 5G with the née SIM card but I don’t know if I believe that). Now I’m trying to figure out how to do the same for my watch but from what I’ve read Apple watches might not have swappable SIM cards? Why would they send me a SIM card for it though?

Apple Watch Series 5, watchOS 7

The rep you spoke with doesn't know how the Apple Watch is designed.

Do you own a watch with the cellular capability? If not, there's nothing more to do with the watch.

If it does have cellular, you need to contact T-Mobile and ask about getting the eSim of your Apple watch set up.

I don’t think my watch has cellular capability. On my bill it has a separate number but I can on make and receive calls when it’s connected to my phone and when my phone is connected to a network. If I put my phone in airplane mode my attempted call from my watch fail. Thanks for your response,
