Hello, Dee. Thanks for clarifying that for us. Just to make sure we're fully understanding the issue, your MacBook Air is opening different pages on it's own or at least, toggling to other open apps and programs. Is that correct? Does this happen only within Safari or are different programs opened too?

To help narrow down this behavior a bit further, we'd like you to please test for this in safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode.

Next, see if this behavior persists in a second user account on your Mac. If you don't have one you can use, please follow these steps to make a test account that can be deleted later: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

When you have a moment, please get back with us with those results and we can look into this further with you. Take care!

Hello, Dee Dulaney! Thanks so much for your post today. We'd love to lend a hand with this issue you're facing, but we need a bit more information on what exactly is happening. Are you experiencing an issue with your display physically separating from the enclosure? Is the display turning black while in use? Please let us know what exactly you mean by "jumping off".

We'll be here waiting to hear back from you. Thanks and have a good day.

Thank you for trying to help me. Jumping off means I am working on a certain page for about a minutes, the screen will go to another page (site or app) I have not been on for a while. Then it will shut down and I have to login again. There are no black screens just flip-flopping quickly until I have to login again. Thanks again, Dee Dulaney
