My child’s ipad will not allow her to play multiplayer games even when restrictions are off. Someone help!!?

My ten year old has apple arcade and is trying to play multiplayer with me and her mum on Wonderbox and Crosst castle. Each time she tries she gets the message that she can’t due to restrictions in game center.

However this is not true as the restrictions all allow for this (see screenshot). We’ve even tried by turning off the restrictions and this doesn’t work either!!

Can anyone help!!??

I think the problem has nothing to do with a bug of the gamecenter.

The limitation comes from the age of the profile of your child... The editor of Wonderbox collects some personal data while doing multiplayer games, and you need to agree to this data collection in order to activate multiplayer.

However, such data collection is prohibited for children under 13, that’s why multiplayer cannot be activated for under 13 yo profiles. You might need to create a new account with a fake date of birth if you want to play multiplayer on these games.

Hello amitzal,

We understand that you'r experiencing an issue with Game Center, and we'd like to help point you towards a resolution. To get started, are all of you added as friends on Game Center? Please double check as outlined here: Use Game Center to play with friends

This will also help ensure that Game Center is on, and everyone is signed in with the correct Apple ID. Lastly, check Game Center restrictions on every device: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Take care!
