It was working this morning but I just noticed that the volume lights are both blinking. I tried reseting it by turning it off, waiting 10 seconds, plugging it back in and pressing the center. The red light appears for a while but nothing happens and it goes back to the blinking lights.
See Identify status lights on HomePod - Apple Support. Unfortunately your symptom doesn't appear to be covered. Reboot your router, and unplug the device for say five minutes before trying to power up again. If needs be try the Press the top of HomePod to reset it method from Reset HomePod - Apple Support.

I've no idea. You could try leaving it off power for a few hours then see if you can reset it when you power up. Failing that contact Apple Support and see if they can help.

Thanks for your reply. I tried your tips but nothing worked. It was literally working 30 minutes before I even noticed the blinking lights. There were no updates..no loss of power..no damage..nothing to explain why it would just stop working!
