Hello michaelmartin,

We understand you're unable to purchase a video with your Apple ID balance. We also understand you're unable to complete a purchase after adding a new payment method.

If your Apple ID balance doesn't cover the cost of the purchase, see how to Add money to your Apple ID balance. If you're unable to add money, we'd recommend confirming the payment method you are using can be used with your Apple ID. Please see Payment methods that you can use with your Apple ID to confirm you're using a payment method that is available in your country or region.

If you're using an accepted payment method with your Apple ID, but you're unable to buy content, you might be using out-of-date software or hardware. See what to do If you can't open the App Store or iTunes Store, buy content, or edit payment information.

If you see a "Cannot connect" message when attempting to complete your purchase, please see what to do If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services.

If you're seeing a message indicating there is a billing problem with a previous purchase, review what to do If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store.

This could be happening because of a problem with the payment method that you have on file. If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes', please don't try to edit any of your account information. Instead, Contact Apple Support for additional assistance with this issue.

If you're getting an error or alert that isn't covered above, please let us know exactly what happens when you try to make a purchase. The more we know, the better we can help with how to complete this purchase.

Cheers!
