Raw photo
The raw image taken on a Nikon DSLR saved to iphotos in Raw format is converting to jpg when placed onto desktop and into photoshop?
I have settings at - prefer Adobe Camera Raw for for support raw files in my handling settings

If you do a normal export from photos, then photos will always export a processed image. Obviously processed images cannot be raw.
If you want to output the raw file, you have to use "Export unmodified original" from the file menu.
