I don't know what I need

I have the older version of the iPad Pro and I just bought the iMac 2020 today. Side car isn't compatible with the older iPad Pro so could someone suggest another app to project what I am drawing from my iPad onto my Mac screen, I use the app AstroPad for my MacBook. Any help is well appreciated . Thank you
